Internet access prices come in three parts: telco line charges, NCIC
monthly recurring costs and NCIC bandwdith. You are responsible for all
telco charges, rough numbers are provided below for comparison purposes.
Setup Fee:
A one-time $400 setup fee is charged for each new connection made to NCIC.
Bandwidth:
Bandwidth costs $250 per month per 1.5 Mbps (T1 level service).
Sample Prices:
Using the above information, and assuming that the telco charges are for
a 3-year contract, we come up with the following list of prices:

Equipment:
NCIC provides, owns, and manages equipment on it's end of the connection.
NCIC members are required to purchase and maintain the equipment on
their end.
Telco Lines:
NCIC members procure and pay for the telco lines for their connection to
NCIC. For Frame-Relay services, this requires purchasing two Frame
"end-points", one at NCIC and one at the member site.
Wireless:
Wireless in the Old Town area is available from our North POP.
