NCIC provides only dedicated Internet access, via T1 (1.5mbps) or better
leased lines. Our target is to provide affordable, quality, business-level
Internet access. Personal access (dial-up, cable-modem, and
flat-rate DSL) are not services that we can offer. If there is enough
demand for business-class DSL access, we will consider offering it. Please
contact us for more information.
Network Layout:
Our primary up-stream Internet connection is via a dual, redundant 100mbps
fiber connection through Yipes at our South POP in Fort Collins. The North POP is
connected to the South POP via a T1. Yipes has been very reliable, however
we are currently evaluating options for getting a second connection to the
Internet.

A dedicated, point-to-point connection. The telco charges a mileage
fee based on your distance from either our north or south POP.

| Frame-Relay T1 (1.5mbps) |
A multi-point connection using sharing bandwidth with other telco
lines. Lack of mileage fees are made up for by a higher base cost.
One Frame-Relay connection can be used for communicating with
multiple remote end-points, providing additional functionality.

| Fractional T1 (256kbps-1.5mbps) |
A rate-limited T1, with a lower cost for the telco line.
|
| T3 (45mbps) |
The standard for providing connectivity to medium and large
businesses and medium-sized ISPs.
Like a T1, only faster. Dedicated, point-to-point 45mbps connectivity.

| Fractional T3 (1.5mbps-45mbps) |
A rate-limited T3, with a lower-cost for the line from the telco.

A direct connection to the NCIC Ethernet. You are responsible for
obtaining office-space near our north or south POP, and cabling to
the NCIC equipment. Note: The South POP has better up-stream
connectivity than the North POP.

POP Locations:
For distance calculations, our North POP is located near Mountain and
Remington in downtown Fort Collins and our South POP near Harmony and Boardwalk. Please contact us
for information on obtaining closet-space near one of our POPs.
